The BMC has released the first film of a four-part series called The Landscape Project, which showcases the natural history of some of Wales and England's best climbing and hillwalking venues and our connections to these landscapes as outdoor enthusiasts. In this first episode, research scientist Dr Nathan Chrismas and fell top assessor Zac Poulton explain the geological formation of Helvellyn in the Lake District and the challenges in preserving its natural environment as we know it today.
