Crag features

One of the best crags in the area, this is a three-tiered gneiss crag overlooking the Gruinard River not far from its source in the hinterland at Loch na Sealga; it has a remote feel. The upper tier is the largest and dominates the view on the approach. Don't make the trip if the river is high, as it has to be waded.
The crag is solid, clean gneiss, split into three tiers on its main right side by two terraces; the steeper two-tiered lower section leads to a longer top tier with generally slabby climbing. The upper terrace becomes broken and heather-clad further left where the lower two tiers shorten and merge as one. The climbs usually follow crack-lines with good protection

Approach notes

Long but flattish approach following a big track along the Gruinard river - mountain bike recommended. Ford the river and cross a bog to reach the crag, which is very obvious.
