Becco di Valsoera is a high mountain peak, one of the most famous in Piedmont, because of its beautiful shape and its climbing history. The impressive and majestic North-West and West faces, more than 600m high, are a perfect granite wall, divided in different sectors.
From the Milano-Aosta-Torino motorway take Ivrea exit. Follow signs to Ciriè and Pont Canavese. Along the road for Ceresole Reale, once in Rosone, take a narrow road on the right side (road marks Piantonetto-Rifugio Pontese) to arrive at the Teleccio Lake. Park just before the dam.
Approach time to Rifugio Pontese: 2 hours
The southwest wall is 1.30 hours further.
