A remote place, slightly away from the roads usually travelled, the village of Cepic is like a journey through history. Old stone houses, passages and gardens, small fields enable us to imagine what life was like in Istria.
The climbing here is lovely. Solid grey limestone located in a gorge with grades from 4b to 7b but mostly in the 5's and 6's. Hide all your gear from the long-horned cows; they move fast and they will rip and attempt to eat anything including shirts and rope bags.
Park on the large grassy area just east of the village. Be careful not to obstruct the farmers; the track though the gorge can be in use at any time.
