Situated on the shore of Lake Garda and beneath the tunnel of Corno di Bo, this small crag is ideal for beginners. Well-protected multi-pitch routes in the easier and mid-grade range, but they can be a little polished.
Be aware that the topo in the 2010 Arco guide is wrong - the first two pitches of the routes seem to tally up with the topo, but there are 3 or 4 lines running up from the ledge atop p2 level (one missing hangers from the first two bolts), and two lines leading to the pylon at the top. We reckoned the lefthand and third lines to be worth UK 5b/c compared to slabs we've climbed on back home, and the top two pitches easier but not 3b. Using 60m half ropes allowed us to ab two pitches at a time. Toerag - 06/Sep/11 |
