A lovely spot for an hour or two's bouldering with a mix of grades and heights. The crag is split into several sections with the best problems centred around a roof on the left and a steep, dark wall on the right. Some of the problems on the right are pretty highball.
Some of the problems were described in the Boulder Scotland (2017) guide but the crag had been climbed on for decades before that so the routes have not been added here. Leave the guide at home and go exploring, it's that kind of place.
There are also a few problems on Little Craig Minnan which is further west.
The easiest route is to start at the main Muirshield car park follow signs for Windy Hill from where the crag can be seen.
