Update 11/12/09
http://wiki.climbing.ie/index.php/Gap_Of_Dunloe
Driving is discouraged in the Gap, particularly at weekends. Either park at Kate Kearney's cottage and walk in (ca 15mins) or, more realistically drive in before 10am at weekends, after which the number of walkers/horses dramatically increases. There is space for 3-4 cars just by/after Brennan's Leap Crag. Do not park off-road here or you may get stuck in bog) and space for up to 10 cars in the wide space immediately after the first bridge.
Climber's at Brennan's Leap should be ready for an audience of tourists.
Not sure the location is quite right in the middle of the bay of biscay? :-) RobertHepburn - 07/Jan/13 |
