A number of soft sandstone rock formations with single and multipitch routes up to 8 pitches long, within a managed park complete with visitor centre, near Colorado Springs. The majority of routes are protected with drilled pitons or bolts, but many require some gear as well. An interesting and unusual place to climb with some high quality routes. Good grade coverage in the range 5.6 to 5.11a and a handful of easier and harder routes, up to 5.12d. It is possible to buy a small area guidebook in the visitor centre called "Garden of the Gods. Rock climbing guide by Stewart Green".

Visit visitor centre to register for a climbing permit (free), and get map of rock and parking. Can register for the climbing permit online at https://coloradosprings.gov/parks/webform/2019-rock-climbing-permit
