UKC

150m, 5 pitches. Details from the 1964 guidebook. Start up Ellis's Eliminate (or Inverted V) to the Birdcage cave on the latter. Traverse right at this level to the Great Flake (Zig-zag Flake Crack) and on to a belay in the chimneys. Gain the Black Slab with difficulty and delicately across this via the high step on Hargreaves' Original into April Crack. Continue to the stance two thirds the way up Christmas Crack and belay. Cross Trinity Wall easily high up, or harder by descending Central Trinity, then regaining height via Right-hand Trinity to a high level ledge and belay in Green Crack. Go easily on ledges to Oblique Crack (or harder lower) and continue to cross Narrow Buttress halfway up and belay in Hollybush Crack a little lower down. Ledge then obvious traverse lead to Leaning Buttress Gully, then squeeze behind the buttress (reversing The Bishop's Move) to Leaning Buttress Crack. A tricky move leads to Garden Wall, descend this to a heather ledge. Walk to Flying Buttress and descend this to finish!
