Southwest-facing sports crag on rough quarried limestone wlth routes up to 18m. The rock is characterised by the 'red light' - a technical seam near the top of most routes.
Some buttresses, such as Barneys and Thunderbirds hardly ever get very wet and dry quickly. Parts of Bamm-Bamm and Waterfall suffer from run off from the moors above and can take quite a time for all the routes to dry out fully.
