Superb again James. Looks like you are having an amazing time out there ! BTW how do you rate the 6D over the 5D ?

Thanks Mr Mills. A good time was indeed had, ready to get back out there! I love the 6D. For me seems similar in quality to the 5d mkII but smaller and with wifi/gps. Unless your doing video, in which case the 5dmkII is definitely better. Lots of people complain about the slow focusing of the 6D, but I never really do any fast sports photography in low light. I have no experience with the 5D mark I however.

Image, looks iconographic of your own style you're developing. I'd second that, I love my 6D. With 17-40 attached, it's light enough for me to carry pretty much everywhere, on routes, skiing, walking around town - the lot. I've used my G12 once since I got it last august. Even considering selling my G12 since it gets so little action. Compared to the 5D, I can't see the difference in quality of the image, it's all about the glass! I think the 6D wins out for low light stills photography and astro.
