I climbed this route alone. I was intimidated by the prospect of the ‘hardest VF in the Dolomites, and by being alone).
But I had no real problem and I am glad I did it - and that I took Petzl Adjust.
I have many years of rock climbing techniques and experience to draw upon - and you need them plus strength to haul up the rope.
The climb took me 2 hours (plus walking 35 min and walk down 1:45). There’s a lovely meadow (and refugio) to rest in at the top!
I would not like to do this route after it has been raining as there is already significant seepage and muddy bits in the lowest sections.
All in all a very fine and memorable outing!
