Role: Senior Duty Manager – Full-time £24,200 to £27,450 per annum dependant upon experience. Required to work evenings and weekends. FA certificate required. CWI or above desirable.

TCA are looking to employ several Senior Duty Manager positions to support the operations of the centre(s). All Senior DMs will take a lead role in operating TCA centres, managing staff, centre safety and facilities on a day-to-day basis. They will support the Centre Manager and Management Team in key areas of the business to ensure TCA is continually able to run safely and profitably. 

The role demands key decision-making, adapting to immediate problems in a professional manner whilst utilising the available counter team. Senior DMs take responsibility for all staff whilst working within the centres and promote an engaging and proactive workplace. This includes keeping the centre clean and tidy, upholding all TCA H&S Policies and Procedures, floor walking, managing cash, managing staff along with promoting a good atmosphere throughout the centre in order to satisfy all our customers. At times they will be expected to provide instruction to groups using the centre and must either have an instructing qualification or be willing to obtain one as quickly as possible. The Senior DM will have a broad knowledge of the different departments in TCA and Rock Gym Pro (RGP), our point of sale system. They will be required to assist the relevant Manager with the day-to-day tasks in the relevant departments. They will act as Staff Representatives and as ambassadors will be responsible for ensuring clear communication between TCA Staff and TCA Management.

As this role will involve supporting all departments you will support the Customer Service Manager with shop and cafe development, product ordering and stock management.  Support the Front of House Manager in training junior team members and developing great customer service in the team and support with hiring, training and developing staff as well as rota and absence management. This role will support the Bookings Manager with their responsibilities including dealing with the weekly banking and taking group bookings. You will support the Maintenance Manager with completing key maintenance checks. 


Salary: £24,200 to £27,450
